About Us
Learning & Exploration
I try to follow Emilia Reggio programing with the kids in my care. I love to help them access new supplies and opportunities, and encourage self-directed play and learning. I offer a safe and natural environment for the kids to explore and expand their interests.
Our Menu
Fresh ingredients are the key to any good meal. I serve two healthy snacks each day, and a satisfying lunch (with a minimum 3 food groups) to my full-time children. Of course, we try to find time to make some treats.
Outdoor Play
Dee’s Kidz is located across the cul-de-sac from Suder Greens Park. A large greenspace, the park has a Green Shack open in the summer and a great playground for kids. There are also bathroom facilities, hilly bike trails, and a picnic area. We spend a lot of time outdoors here, especially in the summer.
The daycare itself also has a fully fenced backyard and deck for private play. Walks, especially in winter, and summer outings are also frequent activities to encourage fresh air and exercise.

* While my home is foster-care licenced for safety and regulations, I do not fully meet the formal education requirements to become a fully licenced Daycare. Therefore, while I do meet the safety and programming standards of a licensed daycare, I cannot offer subsidized daycare fees at this time.
** Please, also note, this is a pet friendly home. There are two small dogs, regularly vet-checked and raised with kids, who may interact with the children on occasion. The pups are docile, friendly, and kennel-trained for work hours.
